John Guckenheimer Life story
John Mark Guckenheimer joined the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University in 1985. He was previously at the University of California at Santa Cruz. He was a Guggenheim fellow in 1984, and was elected president of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and served as president 1997-1998.
