Bombshell: Charlize Theron on 'wrap your head around' Megyn Kelly

There are two different types of bomb in bomb.
The Oscar-nominated film shows the 2016 sexual harassment scandal on Fox News , which led to the dismissal of The Network , CEO Roger Ailes and rocked the media industry.
But the title of the film refers to the employees that were involved.
The right-wing news network is famous for hiring young, attractive, and usually blonde anchor to the front of his broadcasts.
"The title of the film is clever, wisdom, their Modus Operandi ," "history, After All , to female employees, with the icy smile and iron ambition, worked for a conservative political force that is institutionalized harassment of women. "
Former anchorwoman Gretchen Carlson is The First to blow the whistle on Ailes, she was calling for was fired from the channel for the refusal to his sexual advances.
Several other women then came forward, among them, the high-profile anchor Megyn Kelly to add names to The List of women he abused.
Charlize Theron has been widely praised for her portrayal of Kelly bomb, which netted her a nomination as best actress at The Oscars .
Play a real-life person, especially one who is still active and high-profile, a particular challenge for an actor. But if it is explained to the exploration of The Role of Kelly, Theron: "I've got to meet me not with her by choice.
"Hear you, the whole thing is pretty overwhelming," she says. "It took me a while to wrap around my head, playing them for Many Reasons . But I think the biggest one is that she is so well known. And it is up to date, it is from this moment, and whether you like it or not, you know, your face, you know how it sounds, and there was really no way around it, that is. "
Theron was praised by critics, not only for their acting performance, but also for their physical resemblance to Kelly, which was achieved with The Help of prosthetics from make-up artist Kazu Hiro.
"The transformation is so authentic, so to the point, it is irritating,"
"The First thing that you notice about your deep-dive performance as Megyn Kelly is, that you don't see Theron at all," "Through voice, posture, wardrobe, and The Genius of prosthetic make-up, Theron is Kelly. "
Theron, and explains also co-produced the film, they rank with Kelly's policy before you agreed to do The Role .
"There are things that you said in The Past that have bothered me," Theron says. (Kelly's previous controversial to include as a character for Halloween and your comments. )
"But the more I focused on what The Movie was, [I realized] that it was not a Megyn Kelly biopic, it's about a year-and-a-half to do half Fox, and she was a part of many other women who experienced this, what has been achieved, then, ultimately, something that was thought impossible.
"And so, as soon as I concentrated to it, that it was easier for me, about this, and if I have problems with her or not, she was part of something, I think, a historical marker for the rights of women. "
Ailes was fired from Fox News as a result of the allegations, received $40m (£31m) in severance pay. He died a year later, at the age of 77. Several women filed complaints against him received damage from Fox News .
the fact that the Ailes-scandal, pre-dated #MeToo makes it all the more important as the climate was not what it was a year later, as the accusations against The Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein sparked The Movement that would bring several big-screen Heavyweights .
Roger Ailes (left) died in the year 2017. He played in The Movie by John Lithgow (seen with Theron)The Movie keeps most of the things, focuses on The Scandal and not the car, a study that made the news on a right-wing news channel.
"bomb hard enough on Fox News ? Difficult to assess, because it is so much more focused on the internal culture as The Product of the
"The film shows in The World ," well-known figures such as wax-like cartoons," she wrote, and added: "When It Comes to Trump, the Film is strangely played unspecific about The Role of Fox News in the election. "
But maybe that doesn't matter, because, as resonance of the film feels like a result of its focus on sexual harassment.
"This conversation is happening in Real Time , and I think without this the Film would not have The Power that it will work," admits Theron.
"It was really weird to make the film, and slowly, these things all kind of dissolve. I remember sitting in the make-up car and observed the male actors speak negatively about this movement that you thought was dangerous and was without men and was over-correction, and it was annoying.
"The Harvey [Weinstein], what happened, and that was really big, and if the bands, The Women were released, I think that's when we realize that we are part of tells a story, which was The Origin story of this whole movement, and we knew not that before. "
How you will react to those proposals, which has led to over-correction? "I mean, listen, I feel like, in context, if you really at it from 30,000 feet in the sky, what says women in toxic jobs for years and years, a little over-correction, the least we can do," Theron.
Charlize Theron wasn't nominated for best drama actress at the Golden Globes earlier this month, considering Kelly is very well known in the UK, and Fox News is not consumed, will Theron be aware of the fact that the bomb might be a harder sell, for the British audience?
"perfectly clear, we have all these conversations," she says. "But then you realize that you guys are the lynchpin, Rupert Murdoch ," she says, referring to Fox-the ultimate boss, the owner of the British Newspapers, including The Times and The Sun . "So I think that's enough information, that's all you need to know.
"you don't really need to know anything about Fox," she continues. "Because this is a so non-partisan. this is not a political film, it's not about Fox, Per Se , actually it's just the time and The Place in The World . This is something that is reflected I think in so many different jobs.
Before we leave, we ask the news agencies Theron consumes itself.
"CNN," she replies first. "But I also like to have different news sources, I see a lot of right-wing political shows and news broadcasts, because I think it is important for us to see, to talk like The Other guy. So there will never be a part of me that is like 'don' T to see it, don't want to hear, they just want to get what I believe".
"I think it is difficult for any kind of real conversation about real problems, unless you really know where The Other person is coming from, what you on the floor. You need to hear to be ready to. I think a lot of the time, we just want what we believe and how important that is, and we don't hear enough. "
the bomb is released in the UK and Ireland on Friday, 17. January.
