John Paul Manley PC OC is a Canadian lawyer, businessman, and politician who served as the eighth deputy prime minister of Canada from 2002 to 2003. He served as Liberal Member of Parliament for Ottawa South from 1988 to 2004.

A worker smashed the entrance of a hotel with an excavator over the Christmas pay dispute, a court heard.

John Manley pleaded guilty to damage to property and reckless whether life was endangered. He will be sentenced on 1. November.
The 35-year-old had heard with "social problems" in the run-up to The Attack , Liverpool Crown Court .
