John Pendleton Jr. Life story
John Pendleton Jr. was a Virginia government official, most notably serving as the acting Governor of Virginia for eight days in December, 1799. A nephew of Edmund Pendleton, Pendleton served as clerk of the Virginia Committee of Safety from 1775 to 1776.
