John Pynchon Life story
John Pynchon was the son of William Pynchon and Anna Andrew of Springfield, Essex, England. He immigrated to Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1630 and removed with his family to settle Springfield along the Connecticut River, where his father established a thriving fur trade.
