John William Greene Life story
John William Greene was the Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 1931 to 1934. He was a builder by trade, and built Moreton Bay College for his sister, Alice Jane Alison Greene. He fought and was seriously wounded as an artilleryman and tanker during the First World War.
