Jon Bowerman Life story
Jon Bowerman is the son of Bill Bowerman, Nike's co-founder and the legendary University of Oregon track coach. A statue of the coach presides over an outside corner of UO's Hayward Field track. Collegiate track's highest award, the equivalent of football's Heisman Trophy, is called "The Bowerman."
