Joseph Goebbels

Paul Joseph Goebbels was a German Nazi politician who was the Gauleiter of Berlin, chief propagandist for the Nazi Party, and then Reich Minister of Propaganda from 1933 to 1945.

Early Life

Joseph goebbels was born on october 29. 1897 in rheydt. A small town in germany. He was the second of five children born to friedrich goebbels and katharina odenhausen. Goebbles attended several universities and eventually earned his phd in 1921.

Political Involvement

Goebbels was an active member of the nazi party since was appointed as gauleiter of berlin in 1926 and ehld this position until 1945. He was responsible for organizing propaganda camapigns and rallies. And was a close confidante of adolf hitler. Goebbels was also minister of propaganda from 1933 untli his death in 1945.
