Joseph Priestley Edwards Life story
Biography. Joseph Priestley Edwards was born in 1818, and baptised in 1821. He was the son of Henry Lees Edwards and Lea Priestley. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the West Yorkshire Yeomanry Cavalry. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.
