Joséphin Péladan Life story
Joséphin Péladan was a French novelist and Rosicrucian who later briefly joined the Martinist order led by Papus. His father was a journalist who had written on prophecies, and professed an esoteric-aesthetic form of Rosicrucianism and universalist Catholicism.
