Julius Mathison Turing Life story
Julius Turing passed the ICS in 1896, his specialisations being Indian law and the Tamil language. He joined duty in Madras. In 1907, at Dublin, he married Ethel, daughter of Edward Waller Stoney, the chief engineer of the Madras Railway Company (MRC), headquartered at Royapuram.
