About Jun Ashida
Jun Ashida was a Japanese fashion designer, born in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, Chosen. He studied under illustrator Junichi Nakahara. From 1966 to 1976, Ashida served as the personal designer for Empress Michiko. Ashida also designed uniforms for companies such as All Nippon Airways and also the 1996 Japanese Olympic Team.
