About Kamegaoka Stone Age Site
The Kamegaoka Site is an archaeological site in what is now part of the city of Tsugaru, Aomori Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan, containing the ruins of a Jōmon period settlement. The remains were designated a National Historic Site in 1944 by the Japanese government.
