About Kanpō Yoshikawa
Kanpo Yoshikawa 1894-1979. Kataoka Gado - Kabuki. Kabuki actor Kataoka Gado is in the role of Miyuki in the play, "Asagao Nikki". Kanpo was one of the earliest Kyoto based artists who specialized in Shin Hanga style kabuki actor genre, although he did not produce any other woodblock prints after 1925.
