Kardam Of Bulgaria Life story
Kardam was the ruler of the First Bulgarian Empire. The name of Kardam is first encountered in the Byzantine sources in 791, when Emperor Constantine VI embarked on an expedition against Bulgaria, in retaliation for Bulgarian incursions in the Struma valley since 789.
