Kārlis Padegs Life story
Kārlis Padegs is one of Latvia's most popular artists. He studied under noted Latvian painter Vilhelms Purvītis at the Latvia Art Academy. Padegs' style was original and shocking – using themes which were very iconoclastic at the time.
