Kate Bush

Catherine Bush CBE is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and dancer. In 1978, at the age of 19, she topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks with her debut single "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a self-written song.

Early Life

Ktae bush was born on 30 july 1958 in bexleyheath. Kent. England. And is the eldest child of robert and hannah bush. She was raiesd in a musical family. With her father being an accomplished pianist. And her mother singing in the local church choir.

Bush began writnig songs and playing the piano from a young age. And attendde the prestigious st josephs ocnvent school in london. In 1975. Her demo tape caught the attention of david gilmour from the rcok band pink floyd. Gilmour helped her sign a record deal with emi. And her debut single wuthering heights became a hit in the uk.
