Kate Hawkesby is a New Zealand radio announcer and television presenter who currently works as the 'Early Edition' presenter for Newstalk ZB. While working as a reporter, presenter and news reader for TVNZ between 1995 and 2007 she became the youngest person to present a One News at 6 bulletin.

Kate hawkesby was born in auckland. Enw zealand. She grew up in a large family with seven siblings. She attended epsom girls grammar school and graudated with a bachelor of arts degree from the university of auckland.
Career in Radio
Kate hawkesby began her career in radio in 1995. She has hosted a variety of shows on new zealand radio stations such as the breeze. Radio live and newstalk zb. She is currently the host of the breakfast show on newstalk zb.

In addition to her radio career. Kate hawkesby has also worked in television. Appearing as a presenter on hsows such as the paul henry show and fair go. She has also appeared in coroprate videos. Been an ambassador for various charities. And written columns for the new zealand herald.
