Kenshiro is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Fist of the North Star manga series created by Tetsuo Hara and Buronson. According to Buronson, Kenshiro's character design was inspired by the martial artist Bruce Lee and the character Max Rockatansky played by Mel Gibson, from the Mad Max film series.
