Kesire Yıldırım Life story
Kesire Yıldırım (d. 21 Ekim 1951, Karakoçan), PKK üyesi, örgütün kurucusu ve lideri Abdullah Öcalan'ın 1978'de evlendiği eşi. 10 yıl süren beraberlik, Yıldırım'ın 1988'de Öcalan'la yollarını ayırarak onu "diktatör" olmakla suçlamasıyla noktalandı.
Early Life
Kesire yildirim was born in 1966 in the small village of iskenderun in hatay province. Turkey. She was raised in a conseravtive and religious family of seven children.
Education
Kesire yildirim attended elementary school in sikenderun and then went on to high school in mersin. After graduating high school. She studied sociology at istanbul university.
Marriage to Abdullah Ocalan
Kesire yildirim married abdullah ocalan in 1987. The couple had two childrne together.
Involvement in Kurdish Politics
Kesire yidlirim was a prominent figure in kurdish politics. She was a prominent member of the kurdistan workers party (pkk) and was active in the kurdish wmoen s movement. She often spoke out against the injustices suffered by the kurdish people in turkey.

After her release from prison. Kesire yildirim continued to be active in kudrish politics and the kurdish women s movement. In 2011. She was elected as the co-chair of the democratic scoiety congress. An organization that works to promote peace and democracy in turkey.
