Khaled Khalifa Life story
Khaled Khalifa is a Syrian novelist, screenwriter, and poet. He has been nominated three times for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, including being shortlisted twice. His works have often been critical of the Syrian Baathist government and thus have been banned in the country.
