The Widow of the US basketball legend Kobe Bryant is suing the owner of the helicopter Crash last month, killing her husband and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna .

Bryant, Gianna and seven others died when the helicopter they were in crashed in fog on 26 January.

In the lawsuit, Vanessa Bryant, says The Pilot was negligent for flying in such bad weather.

It was filed shortly before a funeral ceremony held in Los Angeles .

Island Express Helicopters, and The Pilot , Ara George Zobayan, had a "duty to use the care that would normally be a cautious and prudent pilot under the same or similar conditions," The Suit .

It will not assess claims that Zobayan - died in The Crash , the weather data before you take off.

The Suit says The Pilot , not to abort The Flight , in spite of The Treacherous conditions.

The Company responsible for The Flight "with the full knowledge that the topic of helicopter flying in unsafe weather conditions," says the complaint.

Ms Bryant is seeking unknown damages and PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Island Express Helicopters suspended operations.

Bryant and Gianna were remembered in a "Celebration of life" memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday .

Beyoncé, opened the service with their 2013 hit-XO, what She Said was one of Bryant's favorite songs.

Basketball Stars Michael Jordan , Magic Johnson and Bryant's former teammate Shaquille O ' Neal were among the attendees.

The Staples Center , Bryant home arena was for much of his 20-season career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

in his speech at The Event , Ms Bryant said about her husband: "He was my. He was My Everything ," and called her daughter, Gianna , is a "surprisingly sweet and gentle soul," whose smile took up her whole face.

Island Express Helicopters has been limited to the operation, if The Pilot was able to see clearly during The Flight .

The plane, a Sikorsky S-76B - went to a hill outside of The City of Calabasas.

the conditions were foggy when The Flight took off, and the local police had grounded their helicopters due to the bad weather.

The Pilot asked Air Traffic controllers, who like to gather for a special authorization, known as Special Visual Flight Rules, flying in less than optimal weather conditions, said NTSB Board member Jennifer Homendy who went to The Crash scene evidence.

The helicopter, she added, circled in the air for 12 Minutes , before the customs clearance. The Pilot then asked the Controller for "flight following", to help helicopters in order to avoid collisions, but I was told The Craft was to low to off the radar to be detected.

minutes later, The Pilot said he was climbing "to avoid a cloud level," she added. The helicopter rose and began a left descending, according to radar data before communication was lost. All of the people on Board were killed.
