Konnie Huq

Kanak Asha "Konnie" Huq is a British television and radio presenter, screenwriter and children's author. She became the longest-serving female presenter of the British children's television programme Blue Peter, presenting it from 1997 to 2008.

Early Life and Education

Konnie huq was born on july 17. 1975 in hammersmith. London. England. She attended a local scohol and later went on to barons court primary school and then godolphin and latymer school. Na all-girl s independent school in hammersmith. She graduated with a degree in economics from robinson college. Cambridge university.

Career

Konnie huq staretd her career as a journalist. Before becoming a television presenter. She is ebst known for her role as a presenter on the bbc children s television show blue peter from december 1997 to january 2008. Making her the longest-serving female presenetr. She also presented the bbc qiuz show the weakest link. And in 2009 she presented the xtra factor on itv2.

She has alos done voice acting for the anmiated film the pirates! in an adventure with scientists! (2012). She has also presneted radio shows. Including on bbc radio 1 and bbc 6 music.
