About Konrad Von Würzburg
Konrad von Würzburg was the chief German poet of the second half of the 13th century. As with most epic poets of the age, little is known of his life, but he is assumed to be a native of Würzburg. He seems to have spent part of his life in Strasbourg and his later years in Basel, where he died.
