Laʻakapu Life story
Laʻakapu was an ancient Hawaiian noble lady and a High Chiefess of the Big Island as a wife of Kahoukapu, Aliʻi Nui of Hawaiʻi. She was the mother of the High Chief Kauholanuimahu, who succeeded his father.
