About Lanín National Park
Parque Nacional Lanín is a national park in central western Argentina, at the foot of the Andes. It's known for its many glacial lakes and the snow-capped Lanín volcano. The park is a protected area for araucaria trees and home to pumas, small deer and condors. Lake Lácar has several beaches and borders the alpine-style town of San Martín de los Andes. Chapelco Ski Resort is on the park's southeastern edge.
