Lê Hoàn (Lê Đại Hành) Life story
Lê Hoàn, posthumous name Emperor Đại Hành, was the first emperor of the Early Lê dynasty, succeeding the Đinh dynasty as rulers of Đại Cồ Việt. He started his career as a commander in the army of the first Vietnamese emperor Đinh Bộ Lĩnh and rose to the position of commander-in-chief.
