Leipzig Bay

The Leipzig Bay or Leipzig Basin or Saxon Lowland or Saxon Bay is a relatively lakeless and highly fertile landscape in Central Germany, in northwestern Saxony and southeastern Saxony-Anhalt. This region was originally covered with lakes, dense forests and rivers.
