Lekach

Lekach is a honey-sweetened cake made by Jews, especially for the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. Known in Hebrew as ʿougat dvash the word lekach is Yiddish, perhaps from the Aramaic, lĕkhakh, meaning to mix thoroughly.
