Leonard Taplin Life story
Lieutenant Leonard Thomas Eaton Taplin was an Australian World War I flying ace. During his service in Palestine, he helped pioneer the use of aerial photography for cartography. He then transferred to the Western Front and was credited with 12 official aerial victories.
