About Lesser Cornstalk Borer
Elasmopalpus is a monotypic snout moth genus described by Émile Blanchard in 1852. Its single species, Elasmopalpus lignosellus, the lesser cornstalk borer, was described by Philipp Christoph Zeller in 1852. It is found from the southern United States to Mexico, Central America and South America.
