Lionel Throckmorton Life story
Lionel/Lyonell was the son and heir of Simon Throckmorton of Barsham, Suffolk and Anne Louthe. He may have been born at Barsham, Suffolk where his parents lived. He was born in about 1525. Lionel married twice. His first wife was Elizabeth Kempe, daughter of Bartholomew Kempe of Gissing, Norfolk.
