Louis Raphaël I Sako Life story
Louis Raphaël I Sako has been the Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholics and head of the Chaldean Catholic Church since 1 February 2013. Pope Francis made him a cardinal on 28 June 2018. He does not wear the traditional Chaldean head cover known as the "shash".
