Matchmaker Etienne Pimm (Charles Boyer) makes his living by pairing European aristocrats with rich Americans, and his latest match is between Duke Gaspard Ducluzeau (Ricardo Montalban) and affluent heiress Millie Mehaffey (Hope Lange).
