Lucius Q. C. Lamar Life story
Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar II was an American politician, diplomat, and jurist. A member of the Democratic Party, he represented Mississippi in both houses of Congress, served as the United States Secretary of the Interior, and was an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
