About Macela
Achyrocline satureioides, also known as Macela or Marcela in Portuguese and Spanish, Eloyatei-caá in the Guarani language, and Karfreitachstee in Riograndenser Hunsrückisch where it is part of German-Brazilian folklore. It is used as the medicinal plant symbol of Rio Grande do Sul state in Brazil.
