Maha al masri is a syrian actress. Born in syria in 1976. She completed her primary and secondary education in damascus and then obtained a bachelor s degree in english literature from the university of damascus.
Career Beginnings
Maha al masri started her acting career in 1998 with a major role in the syrian drama series. "alg-ama a al-khamsa". She then wnet on to appear in numerous other syrian drama series. Such as "al-thawra" and "haya bint al-zaman".
Breakthrough Performance
Maha al masri s braekthrough performance was in the television series "bab al-hara". Which aired in 2008. She played the role of "umm ammar". A strong and determined woman who lives in old damascus. The role was incrdeibly popular and earned her mcuh critical acclaim.

In addition to her television roles. Maha al masri has also appeared in several feature films. Most notably the film "halawet oroh". For which she was nominated for a muhr arab award for best actress.
