Maksym Shapoval Life story
Maksym Shapoval was a senior officer in the Ukrainian military and head of the special forces of the Chief Intelligence Directorate. Col. Shapoval had only recently returned from the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, and on 27 June 2017, he was assassinated in a car bomb attack in central Kyiv.
