Marat Gramov Life story
Marat Gramov was President of the Soviet Union Olympic Committee when he was co-opted onto the IOC in 1988. He was also a Deputy of the USSR Supreme Council for Sport, and was described as a militant, hard-driving bureaucrat who was in charge of organizing the Eastern Bloc boycott of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
