About Marching Orders
While being in a marching band isn't as physically taxing as playing in the football games where the bands often perform, it is still a competitive activity. "Marching Orders" follows members of a top-ranked college marching band as they keep their spots, memorize routines and tend to their social lives -- all while trying to slay the competition among other squads. New members join the band's ranks while veterans are cut during auditions for the new season. Tensions flare as discipline is doled out as the team gears up for the battle of the bands.
