Margaret, nicknamed Margarete Maultasch, was the last Countess of Tyrol from the House of Gorizia, and an unsuccessful claimant to the Duchy of Carinthia. Upon her death, Tyrol became united with the Austrian hereditary lands of the Habsburg dynasty.
