Margaret Donne Life story
Margaret Donne was the daughter and 9th surviving child of John Donne, the poet and clergyman, and his wife Anne (More) Donne. She was probably born in the first quarter of 1615 when the family were living in Drury Lane, London. Her baptism took place at the nearby Church of St Clement Danes on 20 April 1615.
