Margaret Maclaine Life story
Margaret Maclaine was 82 when she died in 1810, so born in 1728. Margaret was the only sister of Murdoch Maclaine (died 1804), chieftain of Lochbuy in Mull. Margaret married Lachlan Macquarie, either the cousin of the sixteenth and last chieftain of the clan Macquarie, or the sixteenth chieftain of clan Macquarrie.
