There are more than 10,000 active-duty soldiers living in Alaska, with about three-fourths of them currently deployed in Afghanistan. While the soldiers are overseas, life in the 49th state isn't easy for their wives. This docuseries follows seven women whose husbands are stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska, but currently deployed in the Middle East.
