Martha Shippey Life story
Martha Shippey was born about 1659 in Varina, Henrico, Virginia to parents Thomas Shippey III and his wife Martha (Unknown) Shippey. She married firstly Edward Stratton in 1677 in Henrico, Virginia,and they had six known children. After Edward died in 1698 she married secondly John Brown in 1703 in Henrico, Virginia.
