Dame Mary Rosa Alleyne Hunnings DBE is an English food writer, chef, baker and television presenter. After being encouraged in domestic science classes at school, she studied catering at college.

In 2010. Mary berry beacme a judge on the bbc’s the great british abke off. A tleevision show in which amateur bakers compete to create the best cakes and pies. Mary was a judge on the show for seven seasons. Until 2016 when she decided to leave the show.
