Mary Young Hunter Life story
Mary Young Hunter or Young-Hunter was a New Zealand painter. Hunter was born in Napier and married John Young-Hunter. She exhibited with the Royal Academy from 1900. Her works Joy and the Labourer, Olivia, and Where Shall Wisdom be Found? were included in the book Women Painters of the World. Hunter died in Monterey.
