Maureen Orcutt Life story
Maureen Orcutt was an American amateur golfer and reporter for the New York Times. Born in New York City, Orcutt made it to the finals of the 1927 U.S. Women's Amateur but lost to Miriam Burns Horn. In 1928 and 1931 she won the tournament medal for the lowest qualifying score, and in 1932 tied for this honor.
