Al-Iqtisād fī al-iʿtiqad, or The Moderation in Belief is a major theological work by Abū Ḥāmid Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Ghazali. George Hourani indicated that the Iqtisad and Mizan al-amal were completed before or during Ghazali's crisis of faith.
