Melot Life story
Melot is a dwarf who severs King Mark. He is sent to spy on Tristan and Isolde. He spies on the lovers and reports back to the King. In the opera Tristan und Isolde (opera) Melot is a knight in the service of King Mark and Tristan's dear friend before he betrays the lovers.
